The DR 160 motorcycle appears with the version of the 162cc, single-cylinder air cooled FI engine that produces 14.75 Bhp @ 8000 RPM and a torque of 14 NM @ 6500 RPM and combine to a 5 speed gear box ensure 120kmph top speed on an average. The Millage of DR 160 sports reported from the riders is as 40kmpl (approx.).

Suspension & Safety Measures:

Besides this, the DR 160 Naked sports comes up equipped with Hydraulic Telescopic forks up at front and a Monoshock absorber  at the rear combine to a box-type swingarm (link suspension). For smooth braking, DR 160 the motorcycle offers disc brakes for both wheel that ensure safety for the riders.
